Scientist of ALFA Smart Agro developed a unique technology that allows decreasing negative effect of pesticides on environment. The new technology is called Smart CompleX.
“To create an innovative product, one needs to find the most effective combination of active substances and make them react in one formulization. It takes many years sometimes to solve this task. Creation of Smart CompleX lasted around 3 years. And we could get the result which satisfied us,” – says Serhii Knechunas, Director of R&D department at ALFA Smart Agro.
Smart CompleX allows producing plant protection means on the basis of prochloraz in formulization of suspension concentrate. The value of this development is that in such formulization the product’s efficiency is high and the negative effect on environment is lower due to lower amount of organic solutions and additional components in the product.
The matter is that prochloraz solutes badly in water, that is why to make a product on its basis it is necessary to use solvents. Scientists of the company found a way to increase solubility of prochloraz in water and create a product in form of suspension concentrate. Today the technology Smart CompleX is used in production of two innovative products of ALFA Smart Agro for seed treatment – Kantaris and Avicenna.
Avicenna is a three-component plant protectant for grains (wheat, barley, oat, maize). The doze of prochloraz in Avicenna is 250 g/l, which is 4 times as much as in famous products on its basis, but in a different form of a preparation. It greatly reduces negative effect of pesticide on soil and environment. Avicenna protects seeds, sprouts and crops from soil and air-borne infections. An important advantage of using this product is a vivid physiological effect on early stages of crop development.
Kantaris is an insecticide and fungicide protectant for comprehensive protection of grain crops. It ensures lasting effect on roots and crops, protects against a wide range of pests and diseases, as well as facilitates intensive growth of plants.
The Smart CompleX technology has no analogues in the world, receiving of patent for the technology in Europe according to the international procedure is in progress now.
